GRUNGE+STRINGS ROUND 2!
CANTON, GA.. WE ARE BRINGING THIS TO YOU NEXT!
Following an amazing event in Carrollton, GA in July of 2026, the follow up or “Round 2” of the JWLMD Presents “Grunge + Strings” Event will be held at the Canton Theatre in Canton, GA on Saturday November 21st, 2026, starting promptly at 8pm. This is a two hour spectacle into the early 90’s grunge era, featuring amazing songs by Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Alice In Chains, but all done “MTV Unplugged” Style, broken down, more emotional and intimate acoustic songs (still with the energy of the louder electric guitars though!). Only this time we have a twist. We invite three amazing string players to the stage playing the voila, violin, and cello, and they add a texture to the music that is magical and unique!
For several rehearsals stretched out over the entire year this year in 2026, the band and string players have collaborated to create special versions of these songs that you will love and be talking about around the water cooler come Monday morning. We are extremely excited to bring you this Grunge + Strings show to the beautiful Canton Theatre in downtown Canton, GA. We can’t wait to see you there!
