ACOUSTIC SOLOS AND DUOS WEEK
HELLO MY FRIENDS!
A very warm welcome and major thank you’s need to go out this week!
Last week was just crazy.. but it was a ton of fun, and for EVERYONE that came out to support our various efforts all week long, in all the various places that we performed, our deepest gratitude to you and your friends for making it out!
CINCO DE MAYO was absolutely crazy over at Los Magueys in West Marietta. Packed house all night long, margaritas flowing, and lots of music both inside from Amanda and I with the BlairOutLoud DUO, and outside with a local DJ, beer tent, and outside dining area. If you haven’t been to Los Magueys for Cinco.. you’ve missed some great times my friends. Make plans now to attend next year and join in the fun.
My gig week ended on Saturday 5/10 where the Jeremy Would Let Me Drown band performed at MadLife Stage & Studios in Woodstock, GA! We normally perform the music of Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and Soundgarden, but this was a special show where we were asked by the venue to play a 90 minute Soundgarden Tribute Set. We jumped at the chance and put together a killer list of hits and b-sides that any Soundgarden fan would enjoy, and we had an incredible show. Video footage of this show will emerge in the following weeks, and we should be able to post it soon, so stay tuned.

The BlairOutLoud SOLO gigs are back in action starting on Wednesday May 14th; I’ll be at Guston’s Acworth.
Thursday this week, I’ll be traveling to Peachtree City for a SOLO Private Event, so I will not be at my normally scheduled gig at Los Magueys Marietta this time.. so heads up if you are used to seeing me there every other Thursday. That normal schedule: playing Los Magueys Marietta every two weeks, will be halted again at the end of May, because I have another opportunity in the way of that one as well. Normal bi-weekly gigs at Los Magueys Marietta will start back up for me on Thursday June 12th!
Friday BlairOutLoud DUO are making our way back to Center Street Tavern, in downtown Acworth, GA!
Saturday.. I have a special show announcement: Jeff Wheeler from the Jeremy Would Let Me Drown band, will be performing with me at Social Fox Brewing in downtown Norcross, GA! We will be playing all of our JWLMD material acoustically as a DUO.. and we are excited to get back over to Social Fox!
And finally, Sunday I’ll be headed back to the Standard at Roswell, playing Sunday evening 5-9!
